Q&A with Sublime Stitching by Jennicakes
Sublime Stitching everywhere! Do you even have time to sleep on embroidered pillowcases?
Whew! Tell us about it! Jenny is taking her first break in a very long time [which is why her assistants are answering questions for her! ] but even on vacation, we've caught her sneaking in some work here and there. Everyone in the Sublime Stitching office naps vicariously through Minou, Jenny's snoozy cat.
What's your favorite thing about your bedroom?
Jenny's antique sleigh bed and floral cotton chenille bedspread make her room super cozy and inviting.
Do you have any advice for turning Sublime Stitching patterns into a super-special pillowcase?
If it's your first time stitching, practice on a scrap of fabric first. Embroidery isn't difficult, but you'll learn a lot on your first project, and it'll save a lot of frustration and disappointment later. Once you get the knack - don't be afraid of coloring outside the lines. Combine the patterns with your own embellishments to really personalize your pillow!
