If'n Books + Marks
Deb Dormody had tried all the get-rich-quick schemes. None of them worked until she created If'n Books + Marks in 2000 when she started making blank journals and photo albums by hand. Now, she's loaded.
For Sampler Select: Sleep, Deb of If'n Books created beautifully illustrated mini "Sweet Dreamz/Nightmaries" for jotting down the happenings of your sleeping life. Yes, she called them "Nightmaries" -- I don't know whether to be honored or offended.

Q&A with Deb of If'n Books + Marks by Jennicakes
Do you have any recurring dreams or nightmares?
My subliminal dream state is mostly boring but I get a lot stuff done
in my sleep: I go to the bank, I pack orders, I respond to emails. The
nightmare is when I wake up and find that all those things that I
crossed off my to-do list didn't actually happen! It's a total waste.
Like the time I dreamed about Johnny Depp - which could have been
awesome - except that he climbed into bed between me and my boyfriend
and just quietly talked on his cell phone to his wife about stuff.
That's it.
It's a good thing I spend my days living out my real dreams, right?
When did you start making books?
In nineteen-dickety-two, my public high school art teacher introduced
me to bookbinding. I immediately loved it and continued my bookbinding
studies in college and afterwards. It took me a little while to figure
out that I should do it full-time though.
What's your favorite bedtime story?
Everybody loves Goodnight Moon right? I've got a copy en francais and
it's even better! Zut alors!
