Have you ever actually counted sheep to fall asleep?
Yes i have! I find lying down and trying to feel like you're floating on your back works better.
Does painting relax you, or stimulate you? Or both?
Painting is very meditational!
Do you flip your pillow to get to the cool side?
I have a shaped memory foam pillow: no rotating/flipping. Also no lines on your face when you wake up.
