Kristine Capua (aka Tiny Microphone) started making music at the age of 6 when her mom got her a piano for her birthday. In 2002, she picked up guitar and bass, and co-founded The Starlette Canvas, a cutie pop band that released "Dear Jimmy" that very same year. Tiny Microphone is her second solo project, recorded solely in her bedroom. It actually began as an attempt to create a Casio keyboard orchestra, but eventually evolved to the cutie fuzz five-year-old nostalgia it is now - playful, honest songs about eating ice cream with boys and riding the trains in her snowy city of Chicago.
