Renee Garner and Charles Lybrand are the handy-dandy doers behind the the goodies. Renee was formally trained in fibers as fine arts, and her lovingest mister, Charlie, is a photographer. They love to diddle in thread while Renee does the doodles in ink, and Charlie daddles with photos . Wolfie and the Sneak don't really do the work, they actually do most of the playing: they're our sweet little mutt Wolfgang, and his older feline brother, Sneaky Sneaky Freakshow.

I'm a 20-something Children's Librarian (by day) and proud to admit that my hand up a puppet's butt is a beautiful thing. Seriously my puppet shows are Oscar worthy! "No We Do Not Have Any Actual Photographs of Jesus, Ma'am" I've also uttered "On Your Booties Cuties" and "Shhhhh!" More times than I'd like to admit. Yankee Girl Designs started as a way to help me relax after a day of wrangling screaming meatloafs and it's evolved into so much more. I love working with beads and stones and ending up with something kick-ass to wear. Mixing and matching different stones has become a passion of mine. I'm hoping that this buisness really takes off, my dream is to be a Stay-At-Home-Mom to my own weasels, once my hubby and I breed :)

In the little spare bedroom I print from linoleum on an antique sign press and screen print with a Gocco. When I can I rent a press and print letterpress. It's all sort of low-tech and I like that.
